Software Projects Successfully completed:

A. Name: Development of a Computer-aided software for scheduling meetings in
INTECHMART-97

Project Brief:
The Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) M.P. office wanted a software which could handle the scheduling of the industry-industry meet in its international event, INTECHMART-97, a convention arranged to attract foreign collaboration in the state. Meetings between potential foreign companies (70 in number) and Indian companies (250 in number) had to be arranged in limited rooms. The software was developed by my associate under my direction in C++.
B. Name : Development of a Web based Intelligent Querying System for intranet

Project Brief:
Intranets are used as a local internet environment. Staff in a company may have several queries which they may submit to their sub-ordinates or to other departments. The software developed can be used to maintain all such queries in a database and keep track of all of them which are replied or are still awaiting reply. Similarly a record of all queries to be replied by a personnel is maintained. The software was developed by my student in my direction and technical guidance, using HTML and CGI programming concepts over a unix based intranet using Perl as the language.

C. Name : Web Based Notice Distribution and Maintenance System

Project Brief:
Notices if put over a computer network instead of Notice board will ensure more readability in an office automation environment. The software developed intends to maintain all notices over a Web based Intranet such that all intended readers are able to receive the notice. The system is developed using CGI Programming concepts over a Unix based intranet server using C as the programming language.

D. Name : Intelligent Burglar alarm System
Project Brief:

The burglar alarm system has the capability to detect and infer an intruder by using a secret code and if detected, dial to a predetermined telephone number to inform about the possible theft. The project was developed using discrete components and the team who developed it under my direction was awarded by I.I.T. New Delhi.

E. Name : Methodologies for Name Classification using Neural Networks.

 Project Brief:

The names of persons of a country have some characteristic features which are based on the languages prevalent in the country. We have developed methodologies which use neural networks to extract these characteristics in order to classify any name into Indian and non-Indian. This work may find applications in global database sharing systems. This was a part of my M.E. and was carried out for National Center for Scientific Information, Bangalore.

Test their work and configure the network.

B. Name: Industry-Attachment Programme

Project Brief:
